Blueberry Basil Grilled Lemon Smash
7 each Blueberries
2 each Basil Leaves
1 oz vol Grilled lemon Juice
1 oz vol Simple Syrup
1.5 oz vol Tito’s Vodka
2 oz vol Club Soda
Simple Syrup:
2 Cups Pure Cane Sugar
2 Cups Water

This is something different to perfect in time for summer, impress your guests with grilling cocktails. You can still enjoy this delicious, fresh, and fruity cocktail on your Kamado Joe grill.
Blueberry Basil Grilled Lemon Smash
1. Stabilize your grill at 450F. slice your lemon in half and blister sear each flesh side for 45 seconds.
2. Place basil and blueberries into a mixing cup and muddle together.
3. Add ice to the cup and squeeze the grilled lemon over the cup, add simple syrup and vodka then top and shake vigorously for 15 seconds. (Over head for panache)
4. Add ice to a high ball glass and strain the mixture over the ice then top with club soda.
5. Garnish with blueberry speared basil leaf.
Syrup Method:
1. Add water to a pot and bring to a boil.
2. Add Sugar and boil until sugar is fully dissolved
3. Pour into storage container and cool for later use.
